Mr. Angel Albelo

aalbelo@ebrooke.orgAngel Albelo joined Brooke in 2017 as the Athletic Director and PE teacher for Brooke Mattapan. Mr. Albelo is currently serving as the Athletic Director for Brooke High School. Before coming to Brooke, Mr. Albelo worked at State Street Bank as an account controller and then served in the United States Coast Guard.
Mr. Fernando Acosta

facosta@ebrooke.orgFernando Acosta joined Brooke in 2022, as a high school math teacher. He now acts as an Assistant Principal for Brooke High School. Before coming to Brooke, Mr. Acosta taught fifth grade math and social studies at The Chestnut Hill School, was a founding math teacher at KIPP Academy Boston, and a founding math teacher at The MATCH Middle School. He has held many leadership positions through the years including grade level chair, math department chair, dean of students, and others.

Before coming to Brooke, Marishcha was an undergraduate student at Simmons University, where she participated in the Black Student Organization and interned at Love Your Menses, a nonprofit organization that educates young women about their menstrual cycle. Marishcha is also a Brooke alum, and a part of our first Brooke High School graduating class!

Before coming to Brooke, Mr. Rowledge was an Education Portfolio Associate at the One8 Foundation and worked in healthcare consulting at Trinity Life Sciences.

Ms. Darneala Sequeira
Step Assistant Coach

dsequeira@ebrooke.orgDarneala Sequeira joined the Brooke team in August 2017 as the school Nurse and is now the Founding School Nurse of the Brooke High School. Prior to Brooke she worked at the Codman Square Health Center for 13 years, 8 years in Pediatrics and 5 years as a Staff Nurse in Family Medicine.
